Our client, a large independent public accounting firm, has asked us to assist them in locating an Auditor with solid audit experience in the non-profit industry. The ideal candidate will also be well-organized with strong computer and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and audit exposure for non-profits, school districts, government, A-133, municipalities, and/or religious organizations.
This is a full-time contractual opening, paying from $18-25/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy
- Keeping abreast of all industry developments and ensuring professional development through ongoing education
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns, and escalating problems as they arise
- Recognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in Public Accounting
- Solid understanding of audit and attest services
- General knowledge of FASB regulations, GAAS, GAAP, and A-133
- CPA preferred but not required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting
